About The Author
Barton C. “Bart” Solomon is known by his family and friends as a devoted husband and father of two daughters, loving brother to his six siblings, master swimmer and swim coach, church leader and avid traveler. To his clients, Bart is known as a patient but passionate advocate who fights unwaveringly for their workers’ compensation benefits.
Born and raised in the Tennessee – Georgia border town of Chattanooga, the seventh of seven children, Bart learned the value of customer service working in his father’s camera store. He attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he graduated in 1985 and earned a full scholarship to law school at the University of Cincinnati. After graduating with his law degree in 1988, Bart obtained both a Georgia and Tennessee license and began a general trial practice in Chattanooga. From his first day as an attorney, Bart began representing individuals injured on the job and fighting for their rights. He spent his first twelve years of practice in Chattanooga, becoming President of the Chattanooga Trial Lawyers Association, before joining the McMahan Law Firm in 2000 and moving his practice to the firm’s Dalton, Georgia, law office.
